Cut Out These 12 Foods That Promote Cancer

6-Refined sugars:

High-fructose corn syrup is an especially dangerous ingredient for those at risk of cancer. Refined sugars, including HFCS, create spikes in insulin levels which work to promote growth and increase the available energy for cancer cells. With this ingredient becoming more prevalent than ever, found in virtually every sweet treat under the sun, it’s concerning that cancer rates have steadily risen over time. It pays to be mindful about our sugar consumption, as any small effect on insulin levels can translate into big health risks down the line.

5-GMO’s

You may have heard of genetically modified organisms (GMOs), but chances are you don’t have a full grasp on their dangers. Unfortunately, since their introduction in 1996, certain health risks associated with GMOs have become all too real. In the span of just nine years, Americans with three or more chronic illnesses jumped from 7 to 13%. Similarly, it has been observed increases in allergies, autism in children, reproductive and digestion problems after consumption of GM vegetables that were linked to growth of tumors in rats. Of particular concern is Bovine Growth Hormone found commonly in milk. Don’t take risks– choose certified organic, non-GMO verified and locally-grown foods produced without biotechnology to ensure your safety and well-being now and in the future.

4-Processed white flour

Oprah’s brave decision to cut out anything white from her diet has brought a lot of attention to the dangers of white flour. Most people don’t realize that this widely-used ingredient can be even more dangerous than it looks; bleaching flour with chlorine gas not only kills many of its essential nutrients, but also generates a substance that is deadly when inhaled. This would explain why white flour also has an extremely high glycemic rate, causing a spike in blood sugar and insulin levels which can lead to diabetes. What’s even worse is how swiftly cancerous tumors take advantage of high amounts of sugar in the bloodstream–by eating less between-meal snacks that are made from processed white flour, one can effectively starve them and keep healthy.
